IBEST welcomes enquiries from qualified and experienced teachers for its General English courses at all levels and for its Academic English & IELTS Preparation courses.
Teachers may fit one of three categories:
Local Vietnamese teachers with degree and TESOL qualifications from recognised training institutions overseas; foreign nationals applying from abroad; foreign nationals already working in Vietnam.
For an initial enquiry, please send your cv complete with the names and contact details of two referees and a brief covering letter addressed to the Academic Manager, Ms Thu Le Huong at email@example.com
Mandatory qualifications and experience
Undergraduate degree from a recognised university
Recognised TESOL qualification which includes a practicum component (CELTA or equivalent)
Minimum of three years’ TESOL teaching experience
IBEST prioritised teacher employment criteria for 2016 – 2017:
The following qualifications and experience are currently sought – but should not disqualify other teachers (qualified as above) from enquiring:
IT applications to language teaching and learning; accredited training as a Cambridge examiner (IELTS, YLE, KET/PET, FCE) or other EL assessment; ELT curriculum development; DELTA or equivalent – for program coordination duties
IBEST support for Immigration into Vietnam
Where a job offer is made and accepted, IBEST will provide assistance with the visa application process and will help with securing a work permit and residence permit. Further details about this can be had on enquiry.
Please note if you enter Vietnam or are already in Vietnam on a tourist visa, the work permit application process will require you to exit Vietnam, at your own expense, in order to obtain a work permit from a Vietnamese embassy visa section.
If your application meets our selection criteria, you may be invited to interview.
On successful conclusion of the interview – and a check with your nominated referees – you will receive a letter of offer detailing work terms and conditions.
Should you accept the offer, you will need to supply further documentation to secure your work permit:
Notarised, original copies of your qualifications
Criminal history check (from your most recent country of residence/work – including Vietnam if you are already working in Vietnam)
